Video Summary

This video shows some discus fish wrigglers wiggling on a PVC pipe being closely watched by their parents. Wrigglers(sometimes called wigglers) will hang onto their spawning surface for several days before they start free swimming. The discus fish wrigglers grow and develop during this period by feeding off of their yolk sac. The parents will sometimes move the discus fry wrigglers to another area in the aquarium for protection. It's very important not to disturb the discus breeders during this time, especially if they are a novice mated pair, because they might decide to eat their fry.
