Last year we needed a pole barn built to help store some of our farm and lawn equipment and lots of split wood that we use to heat our tropical fish hatchery. We burn quite a lot of wood and store most of it out in the field. But it was hard to get to when we had some snow storms that dropped several feet of snow. And the wood would get wet and wouldn't burn so well. So my Dad decided to have a pole barn built.

He contacted many pole barn builders that advertised that they could do the job. But, many of the contractors didn't want to travel far to build the pole barn. Others pole barn contractors had ridiculously high costs. Some were just not that responsive or didn't seem that interested in working. After weeding through quite a few building contractors, we settled on Lancaster Pole Buildings, Inc.

The staff at Lancaster Pole Buildings, Inc. was very responsive from the beginning. They worked with my Dad to plan the building with his exact specifications during a free consultation. They were willing to travel 2 hours back and forth to the work site to do the job. Their price to build the pole barn was highly competitive. My Dad also liked the fact that they were a family owned business with lots of experience in building pole barns. Their goal every year is to try to build 1 building every week, weather permitting.

We are so glad we chose Chris Smucker (Construction Manager) and his crew to build our pole barn. They exceeded our highest expectations. The pole barn was built in a timely manner. The crew was on time every day and they worked very hard during the summer heat to get the job done quickly. The workmanship on the pole barn was perfect. After they finished the barn, there was very little material left over. We consider their service to be excellent.

They did such a good job on building our pole barn, that 2 of my Dad's friends hired Lancaster Pole Buildings, Inc to build a garage and to fix and modify an existing garage. Both of them, just like us, were extremely pleased with their workmanship and finished product.

Everybody that sees our new pole barn likes it and would like to have one themselves.
