This video shows some 1, 2 and 5 day old, free swimming discus fry. Notice how small the fry appear. They are very tiny(smaller than a flea), but grow very quickly. They exclusively eat off of their parent's sides for the first few days. Usually, by day 3 or 4 you can start feeding them live baby brine shrimp. During this time, the small discus fry always stay close to their parents in the aquarium. We usually remove the fry from their parents after they've been free swimming in the aquarium for 14 days.
